Although he was born in New York, he moved to Haiti with his parents (both Haitian) when he was just two years old.  From a very young age, he started to notice the degradation of the environment, although he didn’t really understand how or why that was happening. 

Frederic just knew he wanted to do his part to help.  Fourteen years ago, he started working with Fondation Seguin, a group of young professionals and business people in Haiti who are dedicated to preserving the natural resources of our country. 

The focus was reforestation efforts and then recently, he decided to put his focus with Haiti Ocean Project.  Being in metal fabrication and construction since 1998, Frederic joined the logistical and infrastructure team of HOP with implementing the logistical goals.
